Our Mission

1. Proclaim Jesus Christ

Jesus is at the center of everything we do. We boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ—His saving grace, His death and resurrection, His power to transform lives, and His promise of eternal life. We exist to point people to Jesus.

2. Pursue the Presence of God

Bethel is a place of worship, prayer, and encounter with God. We believe that the presence of God changes lives. Through passionate worship, prayer, fasting, and the ministry of God's Word, we create space for people to encounter the living God and be transformed by His presence.

3. Walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit

As a Pentecostal church, we believe in the present-day work and power of the Holy Spirit. We desire to see believers filled with the Holy Spirit, walking in spiritual gifts, growing in holiness, and empowered to witness for Christ.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me.” — Acts 1:8

4. Make Disciples

We are committed to making disciples who don't simply attend church but follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Through biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, mentoring, and practical ministry, we help believers grow from spiritual infancy into mature followers of Christ who are equipped to serve and make disciples themselves.

5. Build Strong Families

We believe that God's design for the family is essential to a healthy Church and a healthy society. We seek to strengthen marriages, equip parents, nurture children, and help families build their homes upon Christ and the Word of God.

6. Raise the Next Generation

We believe in the God-given potential of children, teenagers, and young adults. Our desire is to raise a generation that knows God, loves His Word, walks in the Holy Spirit, embraces God's purpose, and boldly carries the Gospel into their generation.

7. Serve and Transform Our Community

The love of Christ compels us to serve others. We seek opportunities to demonstrate God's love through compassion, generosity, evangelism, practical assistance, and community outreach. We believe that the Gospel must be both proclaimed with our words and demonstrated through our lives.

8. Reach the Nations

Our mission extends beyond our local congregation. From Dar es Salaam to Tanzania and to the nations, we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission through evangelism, missions, discipleship, church planting, and raising people who will carry the Gospel wherever God sends them.

9. Equip People for Their God-Given Calling

Every believer has a purpose. We seek to identify, develop, and release the gifts and callings God has placed within His people. Through discipleship, leadership development, mentoring, and ministry opportunities, we equip believers to serve God faithfully and influence their families, workplaces, communities, and nations.
